Supermodel and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit star Paulina Porizkova has found herself a new love, just one year after announcing her split from rocker Ric Ocasek, her husband of nearly 30 years.

The 54-year-old Czech-born beauty was pictured for the first time with Men in Black screenwriter Ed Solomon, 58, in Miami on Saturday night, after the couple attended a star-studded Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party together.

Images show a smiling Paulina looking radiant in a silky gold dress while walking along the sidewalk barefoot, holding hands with her new beau.

Go for gold like Paulina in a Jiri Kalfar silk dress

Gold dresses have been seen everywhere lately, from the red carpet to spring's hottest events. Paulina jumped on this trend for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit party in Miami recently, and we must say - she is ageless!

The model opted for a gold silk dress by Jiri Kalfar, which featured long sleeves with a structured shoulder, cut outs at the waist and a hem that hit just below the knee. The plunging neckline additionally made the dress especially flattering on her figure.

Her gold goddess glow is something we definitely want to mimic this spring and summer - we can't be more excited about this satin gold trend. Another photo shows the blonde beauty holding onto Ed's hand for support while removing her nude high heels outside of the party.

The sweet public display of affection comes just one year after the supermodel took to Instagram to announce that she had split from husband Ric, 70, after 29 years of marriage - with Paulina revealing at the time that the former couple had been separated for a year before choosing to go public with the news.

But now it seems the fashion favorite has found love again, this time with successful screenwriter Ed - who was first identified in an Instagram Story post that featured the couple posing alongside model Barbara Palvin, who appears in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit with Paulina, and also attended the the party on Saturday night.

In a post shared by a Barbara fan account, both the 25-year-old Victoria's Secret model and Paulina a re tagged, while Ed is identified as, 'Ed Solomon who wrote Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.'

A source close to Paulina has since confirmed that the pair is indeed dating.

And it seems Ed had no problem fitting in with Paulina's fashionable friends, with another social media image showing the white-haired filmmaker posing in a T-shirt and white pants and pouting for the camera alongside Paulina, Barbara, and actor Dylan Sprouse.

The event was also attended by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl Tyra Banks, who happily posed for photos alongside Paulina inside.

But while he appeared very low-key in his casual ensemble, Ed is certainly no stranger to the bright lights of Hollywood, having worked on a host of major blockbusters and popular TV series over the years.

Some of his biggest projects include Laverne & Shirley and Charlie's Angels, as well as Men in Black and the Bill & Ted franchise - which is set to return for a third installment next year.

And while Paulina has yet to publicly address her new romance, she certainly looked very much in love as the couple were pictured in Miami, smiling happily at her beau as they strolled along together.

Since speaking out about her divorce one year ago, Paulina has remained quiet about her romantic life, however it seemed at the time that she and The Cars lead singer Ric - who have two children together - were incredibly amicable.

Just weeks before revealing on Instagram that they had quietly separated 12 months earlier, Paulina stepped out to support the rocker as his band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The couple were joined at the black tie event by their sons, 26-year-old Jonathan Raven Ocasek and Oliver Orion Ocasek, 21, with the family-of-four looking relaxed and happy as they posed together on the carpet.

In her Instagram post, Paulina used various metaphors to describe her breakup, referencing a car to describe the family unit and a bicycle to represent her marriage.

She wrote: 'Our family always has been – and still is – a well-built car. When the four of us are together, we can go wherever the road takes us. But as a bicycle, my husband and I no longer pedal in unison. So, we’re ditching the bicycle.

'Ric and I have been peacefully separated for the past year. The photos of our happy family are, in fact, happy family photos; we are just no longer a couple.

'The love we have for one another is so wide and deep it’s practically tangible, and that sort of love can never disappear. Expect to keep seeing happy family photos.

'As I’m sure you can understand, out of respect for our children and each other, we’ll not be commenting further (here or elsewhere) at this time.'

The couple met in 1984 when Paulina was just 19-years-old when she appeared in the music video for The Cars' single Drive.

In April, Paulina and her now ex-husband put on a united front with their sons at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio, despite the beauty now admitting in her Instagram announcement that the couple have been apart for the 'past year'.

The family who were at the prestigious black tie event to see Ric's band be inducted, happily posed for photographs and put on a united front during proceedings, giving no hints of any marital strife.

They also sat at the same table and Paulina could be seen smiling and laughing throughout the event.

Paulina has been gracing the covers of magazines and taking to the runway since she broke out in the 1980s, and despite raising a family, has continued to grace the covers of magazine and walk the runway into her sixth decade.

Speaking to DailyMail.com while in the UK for London Fashion Week earlier this year, Paulina mused on the differences between being a successful model when she first started out and working as a supermodel now.

'When I started in 1980, the photographers held the power and you had to be nice to the photographers,' she said. 'Then, the models took over. We became more powerful than the photographers, the editors and, sometimes, even more powerful than the magazine for which we posed.

'It was the beginning of the model as a celebrity culture,' she added. 'We, through modeling, became the celebrities. Now it seems you have to be a celebrity before you become a model.

'The fashion business no longer creates the idols. Now it just offers them a free ride.'

Paulina grew up with Sweden and was taught that it was 'healthy and honest' to be naked. However, she noted that doesn't necessarily mean she wants to pose nude for a photo.

Paulina was just 13 and living in Sweden with her mother and brother when she was discovered. Her friend, a budding make-up artist, had given Paulina a makeover and sent her photo into a local modeling agency.

The image ended up in front of American founder of Elite Model Management, John Casablancas, who invited her to Copenhagen.

After a '15-second' meeting, Casablancas invited Paulina to Paris.

From there, success was swift and Paulina soon became Paris' most in-demand model. In 1984 she made history when she became the first woman from Central Europe to grace the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
