Kim Zolciak must pay $215,000 she owes to American Express after Georgia judge enters default judgment in lawsuit

But Kim Zolciak is apparently not going to get away with being tardy about paying off her American Express credit card debt.

A judge in Fulton County, Georgia, has ordered the 40-year-old to pay $215,000 to American Express National Bank, RadarOnline reported Tuesday.

The Bravo reality star, who is married to former  Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann, was sued in February for failing to make payments for the money she borrowed.

The Amex complaint stated, according to RadarOnline: 'Defendant [Zolciak] agreed to pay and was obligated to pay the Plaintiff for all extended credit on Defendant's account.'

'Pursuant to the parties' agreement, Plaintiff transmitted to Defendants a monthly billing statement for the account, and Defendant was obligated to pay the minimum payment due as set forth on that statement on a monthly basis.'

Papers were served to Zolciak's home in Georgia in February and on April 3, American Express requested a default judgment in the suit. 

'The Defendant, Kimberleigh Zolciak, has been properly served with process in this action and has failed to file an answer or other defensive pleadings within the time allowed by law,' the filing stated.  

The judge ruled May 9 that Zolciak must pay the amount owed minus a credit adjustment of $103.22.

The court ordered that Zolciak must pay American Express $215,822.68 after she failed to respond to the default judgment request. She received a credit adjustment of $103.22.

In addition to appearing on Don't Be Tardy, the former Real Housewives Of Atlanta star also has her own makeup line KAB Cosmetics that she runs with her daughters Brielle and Ariana Biermann. 

In the season seven finale of Don't be Tardy that aired April 26, Zolciak was seen debuting her new song Wig.

It's the fourth track she's released since 2009's Tardy To The Party.  

The mom of six performed on stage at Key West Pride festivities in Florida with her family supporting her.
